Emily and Elliot got married at a historic schoolhouse that was built in 1902. It has since been refurbished into a beautiful wedding venue with so much charm and some truly lovely vintage touches. The brick exterior and lush greenery completely surrounding the building was the perfect compliment to their “Old Florida” theme! Between the light and airy bridal suite, the dark and moody library that the boys used as a groom suite, the old vintage classrooms and an entire reception area that was once a gymnasium, there is not a single corner of this venue that isn’t stunning.
As far as the wedding day went, it was absolutely chill. Every detail was beautiful, the ceremony was incredibly sweet, and the reception was a party. Exactly how it should be! The only thing that went wrong was that Emily’s bustle broke. Which sounds like a big deal but it actually wasn’t, because one of her bridesmaids is an OBGYN surgeon that keeps sutures in her purse. So yeah, she just stitched it right up.
Emily and Elliot are incredibly kind people and we enjoyed getting to know the two of them and their people so much. And of course their dog, Max, who wasn’t at the wedding, but we got to hang out with him during the engagement session. (He’s the BEST boy. You’ll be able to see him via a painting that Emily’s cousin got them as a wedding gift.) They are one of the most laidback, go with the flow couples that we’ve had, and it absolutely shines through in their photos!
Thank you E+E for trusting us with your memories!

PS- They very graciously left some kind words on our Google page, which I will share below <3
“Throughout our engagement shoot and wedding day they were professional, kind, responsive and helpful. Wedding days are so chaotic, but they were able to capture these quiet, peaceful moments that really made the day special. Out of all the photographers I looked at, their photojournalism style had an organic warmth that I fell in love with.
They listened and made sure to get the shots we requested, but also kept their eye out for all those little moments in between when you are focusing on the people around you and not at the camera. To Becca and Justin: Thank you SO much for the incredible job you did!”
