Another beautiful wedding at Casa Marina in Jacksonville Beach! This stunning, historic hotel has so much charm, and it was a perfect juxtaposition to Kelly and Cole’s party of a wedding and their fun-loving vibe. Justin and I had such a fun time celebrating the two of them with all their friends and family.
This day started out a bit chaotically to be honest. If you have been to Jax beach, you know the parking situation is not great. Not only that, but it was about one million degrees on this day, and EVERYONE wanted to be at the beach (understandably!) Justin dropped me off at the hotel to bring our gear inside and spent the next 30 minutes looking for parking, and ended up in a no parking zone anyway. We somehow miraculously did not get a parking ticket! I also lost a button on my dress, and spent the entire rest of the day trying to not flash everyone. It happens. We embrace the chaos over here.
The second half of the day went much more smoothly. Once K+C had their first look, we were able to knock out all the bridal party photos and most of their bride and groom portraits pre-ceremony. Their family shot list was pretty short as well, and they were able to really be present with all their people during their cocktail hour. We did sneak out for some newlywed portraits on the beach during sunset, though! And then everyone was able to dance their pants off for the rest of the evening until it was time to go home. Or shirts, rather. You’ll see.
Thanks to The Easterdays for having us! It was a blast.
